This digital x-ray system will provide the vet team with repeated high quality images within 8 seconds, avoiding lengthy anaesthetics and the laborious chemical processing. The reduced anaesthetic time is far safer for the orangutan and the whole system is superior and more efficient for the vets. 

Thanks to our supporters, in 2018 OVAID successfully provided similar systems together with complete training, back up and maintenance for the BOS Foundation centres at Nyaru Menteng and Samboja Lestari.
