OVAID succeed in getting vital equipment to rescue centres

GOOD NEWS OVAID have had a proactive trip to Jersey Zoo to meet up with Sumatran Orangutan Conservation Programme’s vet Dr Andika Pandu Wibisono, where he’s currently on the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust, Conservation Management Course. Dr Pandu was previously an OVAID scholarship vet in 2019.

Orangutan Veterinary Aid - OVAID handed over £2,000 of veterinary equipment and supplies to Dr Pandu for Sumatran Orangutan Conservation Programme (SOCP) and BOS Foundation, Nyaru Menteng.

Dr Pandu will be heading back to Indonesia soon and will take the suitcase full of donated items with him for both orangutan rescue centres vet teams
